"Self-abandonment" is a tendency to prioritize everything and everyone outside of you, above what may be going on inside of you.
In this 8 minute video, I discuss and demonstrate how you can be in conversation with your “inner child” (and/or the different aspects of yourself that may have gone underground in your unconscious), in order to tap into your own wisdom and develop a healthy relationship with your "inner being."
We also touch upon a discussion of universal and personal archetypes--which are symbols or images that represent instinctual psychic content-- as important factors that compel us in largely unconscious ways.
We also address how the "observing" aspect of yourself can learn to navigate these murky emotional waters.
